Moorcroft Studios is located in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, just a few minutes from Junction 26 of the M62 motorway. The studio is easily accessible from Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax and the surrounding Yorkshire areas.

While Moorcroft Studios is well known for its contribution to the Bradford bassline sound, we regularly work with vocalists, singer-songwriters, rappers, bands and commercial clients across a wide range of musical genres.

How long does a recording session take?

Our minimum session length is two hours. As a general guide, a full band recording typically requires a full day, while vocalists and rappers usually require between two and four hours per song, including recording, mixing and mastering.

Do you provide a recording engineer?

Yes. All sessions include access to experienced engineer Tom Fox. With more than 20 years of experience, Tom has worked with established artists from Bradford, Leeds, Manchester and across the North of England, with credits contributing to over 1 billion streams worldwide.

Do you offer mixing and mastering services?

Yes. Moorcroft Studios provides professional mixing and mastering services for artists, bands and labels throughout Yorkshire and across the UK. Remote mixing and mastering services are also available.

Yes. Recording studio gift vouchers are available to purchase online and can be redeemed against recording sessions, mixing, mastering and studio experience packages.

Can I buy a recording experience as a gift?

Absolutely. Our recording experience gift vouchers make a unique gift for singers, rappers, musicians and aspiring artists. Vouchers are valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Is there parking at the studio?

Yes. Free on-site parking is available for all clients attending recording sessions at Moorcroft Studios.

Absolutely. Whether it's your first time behind the mic or you've recorded plenty of times before, the studio is a relaxed place to work and Tom guides you through the session so you leave with a take you're happy with.
